Yin yoga is a slow pace practice of mindful stretching that focuses on joint mobility and health, conscious breathing and present moment awareness. WIth the use of props for support, stretches are held for several minutes at a time. A regular practice improves everyday mobility and fascial tightness (flexibility), reduces stress, and may help with insomnia, depression and anxiety. Yin yoga is a gentle yoga practice suitable for all levels of experience. Poses can be modified to fit our body's unique needs.
